Sealmax +

Sealmax+ is an MTA based Bioceramic root canal sealing material supplied in the
form of powder and resin. The powder and resin are mixed to produce a root canal sealing material
of excellent sealing capacity and tissue compatibility. As a result of its close adaptation to the walls
and hydrophobic nature, Sealmax + allows tight sealing of root canal during obturation.

Properties & Advantages:
.Filled with Bio-ceramics (MTA): Contains more than 20% of bio-ceramic material.
.No moisture required for setting: Activators in powders makes resin set.
.Calcium hydroxide release on surface when encounters moisture: Bio-ceramic
fillers on surface when exposed to moisture releases ions and this raises pH of exposed
surface, this also helps in inhibiting bacterial growth.

.Favors bone formation: Ion release enhances bone formation.
.Eugenol free: No long-term post operative pain reported till date.

Indications:

.To seal the root canals of teeth.

Intended Use:
Sealing of root canals during obturation in the secondary dentition with or without the aid
of obturation points (gutta-percha).
