It is a low fusing material primarily used for border extensions on custom impression trays as it attains uniform plasticity. Attains high viscosity at comfortable temperatures 55-65°C making it ideal for recording the full depth of the sulcus, recording of the borders during impression making for preparation of removable dental prosthesis, taking functional and relining impressions. Provides wide working area due to extra working time & quick hardening property when immersed in cold water
