Instructions for Use

To achieve optimal results with C&B Ceramic, follow these detailed instructions:

  1. Processing:
    • Maintain a clean working environment. Dirty reservoirs or equipment can cause deformation and failure of the printed objects.
  2. Shake Before Use:
    • Shake the bottle for at least 5 minutes before mixing to loosen any sediment.
  3. Thorough Mixing:
    • For first-time use, mix the product for 2 hours on a roller mixer to ensure proper dispersion. For subsequent uses, mix for 1 hour.
  4. Fill the Printer Resin Tray:
    • Ensure the resin temperature is between 20-25°C (68-77°F) before pouring it into the 3D printer’s resin tray.
  5. Printer Settings:
    • Use calibrated settings for your LCD, DLP, or SLA 3D printer, as specified on the Prevest website. The resin is compatible with UV light sources of 385nm – 405nm.
  6. Cleaning Printed Parts:
    • Dip printed parts in ethanol or isopropyl alcohol and use a post wash-cure system for at least 15 minutes. Clean again in an ultrasonic bath for 4-5 minutes.
  7. Finishing:
    • Allow printed parts to dry for at least 10 minutes, then remove any support structures.
  8. Post-Curing:
    • Place printed parts in a post wash-cure system for final polymerization. Recommended curing time is 45-60 minutes with additional exposure to a minimum temperature of 60°C (140°F) for enhanced properties.

Important Safety Information

  • Warnings: C&B Ceramic contains polymerizable substances that may cause skin irritation. Always use nitrile gloves and avoid inhalation or ingestion.
